I have told my students countless times that ethical hacking jobs are a small percentage of actual Cyber Security jobs that exist. The likelihood of anybody working as a penetration tester or ethical hacking is small but going forward the chances will be even smaller. There is no question that ethical hacking is an exciting job to perform, however do you really want to specialize in an area with limited job options?
