My community across all outlets (YouTube, website, etc.) has been built on trust from my loyal students and fans. People expect that I WILL NOT mislead them and that I WILL be honest.
“Sponsored” content IS NOT something that I must have to survive or fulfill my mission. If I choose to work with a company, it is because I believe in the product or service AND the company. Additionally, I will make it very clear that the content is sponsored to avoid any confusion.
Below are specific points that you must agree to if you would like to work with me:
- All content is my own. I maintain creative freedom for each video based on what I believe is most relevant or helpful to my audience.
- Reviews are always objective, and opinions are always my own.
- I control my content calendar. I want to work collaboratively for scheduling when possible, however no outside party can pay or otherwise influence me in return for scheduling priority.
- I only work directly with trusted companies. I do not work with Amazon sellers.
- I only create reviews for production versions of products or services. My audience does not get any value from preproduction products or services that they cannot buy.
- I maintain control of what information will be shared. My audience trusts me to only provide the information that is relevant to them. This includes any links and video descriptions.
- I will clarify any unclear information with you. I want to avoid confusing my audience and to provide them clear and accurate information.
- I DO NOT submit previews of videos to anyone for approval or revisions. No exceptions.
- I DO NOT guarantee a review for free products or services. Although I enjoy testing products and services, I will only review products that I either do or would use.
- I DO NOT guarantee any number of views or any amount of audience engagement on videos. I will produce the best content that I can but at times platforms can be unpredictable.
